“Crucible” (“Silenced”) to play in North American theaters with English subtitles


Last month, Gong Yoo‘s latest film “Crucible” (English title: “Silenced“) was released at the CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles. Now “Crucible” will be making its way across select theaters in North America with English subtitles.
“Crucible” is based on a true story, and its issue of child abuse and molestation caught the eye of major American news outlets like The New York Times, The Economist, and The Wall Street Journal. During its first week showing at the CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles, viewers donated over $4,000 USD to help the victims portrayed in the film.
On Friday, November 4th, “Crucible” will be released in the following theaters: Los Angeles (CGV Cinemas- now playing), Huntington Beach (Century 20 Huntington Beach) San Jose (Century 20 Great Mall), New Jersey (AMC Ridgefield Park), Philadelphia (AMC 309), Atlanta (AMC Colonial), Dallas (Cinema 24 Legacy), Chicago (AMC Showplace Niles), Seattle (AMC Southcenter), Portland (Century Eastport), Las Vegas (Century Suncoast), Toronto (Cineplex Odeon Sheppard), and Vancouver (Cineplex Silvercity Coquitlam)
