Last month, Gong Yoo‘s latest film “Crucible” (English title: “Silenced“) was released at the CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles. Now “Crucible” will be making its way across select theaters in North America with English subtitles.
“Crucible” is based on a true story, and its issue of child abuse and molestation caught the eye of major American news outlets like The New York Times, The Economist, and The Wall Street Journal. During its first week showing at the CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles, viewers donated over $4,000 USD to help the victims portrayed in the film.
