Tim releases MV for “…The Day is Long”


Ballad crooner Tim is back with a new song called, “…The Day is Long“.
“The Day is Long tells the story of a man who is unable to forget his past lover. The MV reflects that sorrow with its soft lightplay and despairing expressions of the actors.

2011 MAMA to use 20 celebrity presenters rather than MCs to host the show


This year’s MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) will be experimenting with a brand new format, in which they won’t be using official MCs to host the show.
On November 17th, Mnet‘s Shin Hyung Kwan revealed to Star News, “There will not be many MCs hosting the 2011 MAMA. We will be challenging ourselves by deviating from the conventional awards show format.”
He continued, “We will be getting rid of MC hosts and instead, introduce a new ‘messenger’ concept. These presenters will be comprised of actors and TV celebrities who will freely help unfold the progress of the ceremony in the form of videos and voice announcements.”
“There are rumors of Yoon Se Yoon being appointed as an MC, but this is not the case. Instead, a total of 20 celebrities attending the awards show will help present the event.”

2NE1 plays video games with Kim Kab Soo







Sandara Park has revealed a picture of the 2NE1 members hanging out with actor Kim Kab Soo.
On November 17th, the star updated her me2day with the message, “Woohoo~ It’s exciting, exciting! We’re spending a fun time playing games with Kim Kab Soo sunbaenim. There’s never a dull moment when playing like this. I think I should carry around a Nintendo Wii everyday!”
In the attached photo, 2NE1 can be seeing posing with various Wii accessories while smiling into the camera. Kim Kab Soo himself appears to be having a ton of fun with the boisterous girl group.
Netizens commented, “2NE1 and Kim Kab Soo are close?’, “That timid victory sign is so cute,” and “Kim Kab Soo knows how to enjoy video games.”

Jang Geun Suk sells out 45,000 tickets to his Tokyo Dome concert


It’s being reported that tickets for Jang Geun Suk‘s concert at Japan’s Tokyo Dome have been completely sold out.
On November 17th, Tree J Company stated that all 45,000 seats for the actor’s solo concert, ‘Jang Geun Suk 2011 The Cri Show in Tokyo Dome – The Beginning’, have all been claimed.
Fans were excited to hear about the concept Jang Geun Suk had personally crafted for the concert, aptly called ‘Prince World‘. ‘Prince World’ will invite the audience to step into Jang Geun Suk’s life by introducing the actor’s bedroom, club, living room, and stage.

Jang Geun Suk’s close friends Big Brother, Verbal Jint, and Park Shin Hye will also be making guest appearances during the concert as well.
Tree J Company stated, “This will be a meaningful concert with Jang Geun Suk’s official fan club reaching a second term on December 20th; we can all strengthen our hearts to start the new year. Jang Geun Suk’s charisma will radiate once again.”
Jang Geun Suk added, “This Tokyo Dome concert will be a concert that best expresses the essence of Jang Geun Suk. It will have a different story and performance from the Arena Tour, so please show it lots of interest.”

Shin Se Kyung encourages fans not to skip meals


Actress Shin Se Kyung shared a thoughtful post on her me2day recently, reminding fans that taking care of one’s health is a priority.
She wrote, “Eating comes before ‘Deep-Rooted Tree‘. This is a picture [of me] with my stylist — we haven’t been able to eat because of the busy schedule. Everyone, please eat breakfast. Koreans always need rice for energy.
Shin Se Kyung then shared a photo of herself in a thick jacket, tucking down to a very traditional Korean meal. Her tight braid reveals that she was eating on set with her equally ravenous stylist.

Woman Power’s Lee Boram shares old photos


Woman Power member Lee Boram recently shared some old photos of herself through her Twitter page.
I was organizing some old photos and found some really memorable ones,” she wrote. “I had the opportunity to stand on senior Choonja‘s stage as ‘little Choonja girl, Choonsim’. It feels strange to be looking at these photos now. I can’t believe these came up when I searched for them online…
It turns out that in 2004 (when Boram was only in sixth grade), she stood on stage with Choonja for “Women are Beautiful on the Inside”, along with LPG‘s Han Young as ‘The three Choonja Sisters’.

2AM’s Jinwoon becomes a dapper gentleman for ‘Elle Girl’

2AM‘s Jinwoon tapped into the charisma of old-world stars for his latest pictorial with ‘Elle Girl‘ magazine.
The idol slicked his hair down into a ’2:8′ part, which helped highlight his strong, angular features. Though Jinwoon was dressed in dapper outfits, certain pieces (such as the oversized army-green coat and the wide-legged trousers), added a more modern flair to his overall look.

B2ST’s Yoseob, Dongwoon, & Junhyung release “Dreaming”



B2ST‘s Yoseob, Dongwoon, and Junhyung have teamed up to deliver a smooth R&B track for the OST of MBC’s new drama, “I’m a Flower, Too“.
Titled “Dreaming“, the song expresses a man’s longing for his lover, who abandoned him in reality, yet still frequents his dreams. The song was co-composed and penned by Junhyung and Kim Hyun Woo.

Wonder Girls’ Sohee & Sunye + Tim to emcee this week’s ‘Music Bank’


It’s just been announced that Wonder Girls Sohee and Sunye will serve as MCs alongside ballad singer Tim for November 18th’s episode of ‘Music Bank’.
PD Han Dong Gyu told Star News on November 17th, “Wonder Girls’ Sohee, Sunye, and Tim; these three are scheduled to serve as co-MCs.”
He also revealed that ‘Music Bank’ will not have permanent MCs for the remainder of the year. “Until the end of the year, we will maintain the system of having one-day MC’s,” he said.

IU reveals her comeback teaser photo


Loen Entertainment has unveiled the official concept photo for IU‘s second full-length album!
On November 17th, Loen released the photo through their official Twitter, along with the message, “If you blink, you become an adult.”
The agency explained, “IU’s 2nd full-length album will be an album that shows an IU who is currently standing on the border between the ages of 19 and 20. ['20' is a significant age in Korea, as it signals legal adulthood] We hope fans will look forward to and take interest in IU’s comeback.”
IU’s upcoming album will be released on November 29th, but the tracks will be unveiled on the 22nd.

RaNia makes a comeback with “Pop Pop Pop” on ‘M! Countdown’


The girls of RaNia are back with a brand new mini album called, ‘Time To Rock Da Show’.
After teasing us earlier with short clips of “Pop Pop Pop” and “Time To Rock Da Show”, they finally showed off their full choreography through their comeback stage on ‘M! Countdown’ tonight.
The girls teamed up with Brave Brothers this time around to produce a new sound. Although many things have changed for them since we saw them last, it’s apparent that their ability to deliver an eye-catching performance has not.

Park Han Byul becomes an adorable soldier for ‘Bolder By The Day’


Park Han Byul is charming fans with a photo from her new sitcom, ’Bolder By The Day‘, in which she plays an adorable, yet strong soldier.
Commenting on her first attempt at sitcom acting, Park Han Byul said, “It’s very interesting to be dressed in a uniform that I generally have no real connection to. I’m enjoying this unique experience of entering the army world. I’m very excited about all the characters that I will get to act out through my sitcom role as Lee Han Byul.”
Judging from the comfortable atmosphere we’ve had on set from the very beginning, I expect a lot of good chemistry among our team. Although I don’t actually know what military life is like, this is a fun sitcom so I wanted to share the moment with all the viewers.”
She will play the role of a quirky, four-dimensional soldier born into the military family which the show revolves around. ‘Bolder By The Day’ is the collaborative work between Director Jo Jin Kyu (‘My Wife Is A Gangster‘) and writers Moon Sun Hee (‘Golden Fishery‘) and Choi Dae Woong. Other cast members include Park Haemi, Lee Jae Yong, and Kang Ji Sup.
The show will be airing its first episode December 1st.
