Free NYC Concert moves to New Jersey!

We’ve just received some amazing news — the Free NYC K-Pop Concert has been confirmed once again!
A concert organizer revealed exclusively to allkpop today that they had finally secured New Overpeck Park in New Jersey for their venue. The free concert was on the verge of cancellation due to capacity issues, but it seems that that it’s blown over for now.
Organized by KBS, the Free NYC K-Pop Concert will be part of ‘The 29th Korean Festival’, ‘The 15th Agro Exhibition’, and ‘The 20th Anniversary UN Admission New York Korea Festival’. This two-day event will focus on Korean culture on the first day, and be entirely dedicated to K-Pop on the second day.
Not only will the concert see performances from the hottest K-Pop stars, but there’ll also be a special mystery guest who’s only going by ‘Mister K-Pop Idol’ for now!
allkpop would like to emphasize that fans refrain from contacting New Overpeck Park for additional information. Again, please do not contact the park for additional information. The park will not have enough resources to handle the huge surge of interest from K-Pop fans, and it could aggravate another venue cancellation. Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea bursts into tears while filming Chuseok program, ‘Pit-a-Pat’

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Jea was said to have cried uncontrollably for 10 minutes while filming for KBS‘s Chuseok special, ‘The Brown Eyed Girls’ Pit-a-Pat‘.
On September 8th, Jea was chosen to narrate the program as they followed the lives of six Chinese children suffering from various heart conditions and in need of immediate surgery. Sponsored by the KBS program, the six children were brought to Korea to undergo their necessary surgeries. The girls were with them everyday, and created a strong bond with the children.
Producers revealed, “After reading the last narration for the show in which she states, ‘I promise to visit China to see you again,’ Jea burst into tears and cried very hard for 10 straight minutes.”
They continued, “Everyone was upset to see her crying so hard while watching the footage of the memories she made with the children.”
Even on days where filming wasn’t scheduled, Jea visited the children at the hospital they were checked into. Because they all came from impoverished families, the children don’t have access to proper education. Upon hearing that, Jea expressed interest in helping a six year old child.
The program will air on September 12th at 5 PM KST.

Brave Girls doll up in hanboks to celebrate Chuseok

Joining their fellow idols this year for Chuseok greetings are the Brave Girls, who have all put aside their sexy stage outfits for beautiful Hanbok dresses.
With a laugh, the girls stated, “We’ll finally be able to spend Chuseok with our family. It’s the first major holiday that we’re celebrating since our debut. We’re planning to eat delicious food with our family and relatives, and we’re already so excited at the thought of it.”
Yejin continued, “We debuted in April, but have been dorming together for a while now. We haven’t had a lot of time during any of the holidays to see our families, but recently received permission for a vacation. We’re going home for the first time in six to seven months! We moved houses between then, so I want to hurry up and see our new place (laughter).” Yejin also added, “I grew up in Canada, so I never had songpyun before, but I’m going to eat a lot of it this time.”
Yoojin stated, “We rehearsed a lot last year during Chuseok. We were up by nine and were back home around 12 after rehearsals and exercise. I remember we also had to stay behind to clean up our training room when it rained all night and the room flooded.”
Brave Girls concluded, “Until we win on a music program, we’re not allowed to have internet, TV, or cell phones. We wanted this rule ourselves.  We hope that we’ll be able to meet our fans on a variety of stages and get our name out there more.”

Super Junior & SNSD to help ill foreign fans on ‘Love Request’

SM Entertainment labelmates SNSD and Super Junior will be sharing their love with their international fans through KBS‘s ‘Love Request‘.
A producer of the show revealed, “Hallyu stars SNSD and Super Junior will be working to treat and heal international fans in poor health. Both groups will be joining the first recording, which will take place on September 17th.”
He continued, “Both groups are highly popular overseas and they’ll be listening to the sad stories sent in from their fans; they’ll then choose some fans to bring to Korea for proper treatment. They’re taking time off from their busy schedule in hopes of helping their fans in any way they can. We hope that their warm hearts will move the hearts of not only their fans, but viewers of the show as well.”
Their episode of ‘Love Request’ will broadcast on September 24th.

‘Protect the Boss’ to extend series with two more episodes

SBS‘s ‘Protect the Boss’ revealed that they will be extending the series by two whole episodes!
‘Protect the Boss’ is currently well-received amongst fans for being a unique drama without any antagonists, and for presenting respectable content in each episode. With love lines finally building up in recent episodes, fans are looking forward to the story’s development through this extension.
The drama was originally scheduled for 16 episodes, but producers revealed that they’ve grown very affectionate of the characters and didn’t hesitate in accepting an extension offer.
One producer praised, “The teamwork is amazing” before he continued, “The viewer ratings that we guess as a team are oftentimes a lot higher than what the actual viewer ratings are. There are still so many stories regarding the characters’ love lives and such, which is why we confirmed an extension for the drama.”
To accommodate the change, ‘The Tree of Deep Roots‘ will begin airing on October 5th.

Listeners claim to hear a ghost voice in Sung Shi Kyung’s new “Oh My Goddess” release

On September 7th, Sung Shi Kyung revealed an upbeat digital single titled “Oh My Goddess” that had fans welcoming his comeback.
Some listeners, however, picked up an odd noise that occurs around the 2:52 to 3:00 time frame, with many speculating it to be the voice of a woman’s.  Several have claimed that they can hear a sobbing noise that sounds out of place from the rest of the song.
Sung Shi Kyung’s agency responded to the claims, saying, “We’ve never had a female feature in his song, and did not add any additional vocals to the song either.  We will most likely have to check with those that were with him on the scene of the recording.”
Netizens commented, “It faintly sounds like a baby crying”, “I was confused at first too, but it looks like I’m not the only one”, “I can hear it more clearly the more I listen to it, it’s kind of scary”, and “Looks like a daebak is in the works for Sung Shi Kyung.”

T-ara’s Hyomin dances to “Roly-Poly” on the set of ‘Gyebaek’

T-ara‘s Hyomin recently danced to “Roly-Poly” on the set of her historical drama, ‘Gyebaek‘!
On September 8th, the ‘Gyebaek’ team uploaded a clip of Hyomin’s spontaneous dance onto the official MBC website.
In the video, Hyomin is seen relaxing with her fellow ‘Gyebaek’ castmates while being on standby. Later, Sung Choong Yeok, Jun Noh Min, and other senior actors ask Hyomin to show them T-ara’s “Roly-Poly” dance. At first, Hyomin turned red from embarrassment at the sudden request, but she later busted out some moves with a bright smile.
The “uncle fans” on set went wild for her short performance and even told the camera, “Hyomin is T-ara’s face!” Jo Jae Hyun in particular drew laughter from the crowd for his overly attentive gesture.
Netizens left messages like, “It’s cute seeing Hyomin being shy,” and praised Hyomin for making the filming atmosphere lively and enjoyable.

MBC-SBS-KBS in a panicked state, ’1 Night 2 Days’ to continue with five members

PD Na Young Suk of KBS‘s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ has released an official statement following Kang Ho Dong‘s announcement of his retirement just moments ago.
Speaking through Mydaily, the PD stated, “Since he’s already announced his retirement, I can’t help but respect his choice. The future of the show will depend on Lee Seung Gi, Lee Soo Geun, Kim Jong Min, Eun Ji Won, and Uhm Tae Woong.”
KBS has also launched emergency meetings to determine their follow-up on the shocking development. A representative stated, “We have gone into several meetings to discuss what we will be doing, but there are many difficulties being met with all of the options we are coming to. We will be releasing an official statement from the producers’ side soon.”
The three broadcasting networks revealed, “We have enough footage to release for the time being, but the future is a grave problem. We will release an official statement after we go through internal meetings.”

SECRET confirms that they’ll be joining the girl group rush in October

October is shaping up to be one of the biggest months for K-Pop this year, as SECRET has confirmed that they will indeed be joining the girl group rush with a Korean comeback next month!
Other girl groups scheduled for October currently include SNSD, KARA, T-ara, the Wonder Girls, and the Brown Eyed Girls. SECRET will also be facing stiff competition from IU and G-Dragon.
On September 9th, TS Entertainment confirmed through OSEN, “SECRET will indeed be making their comeback in mid-October. There isn’t a set date in stone yet, but we are sure of October. The album will be a full official album and the girls will be skipping their Chuseok break to completely focus on finalizing last major details.”
They continued, “We were originally going to release it in the beginning of October, but we decided to push it back by a week or two to ensure its quality.  As it is an album of high quality work, please look forward to it.”

Brown Eyed Girls to release fourth album a week earlier than scheduled

Fans of the Brown Eyed Girls are in for a special treat, as the group has just announced that they’ll be releasing their album at an earlier date than planned!
On September 9th, Nega Network revealed, “The group’s fourth album was originally scheduled to be released on September 30th, but because of their Japanese and overseas schedules, we decided to release it on the 23rd.”
They continued, “We’ve decided to release it a week earlier than planned thanks to the enthusiastic support and fervent anticipation from the industry.”

U-KISS makes their comeback on ‘Music Bank

U-KISS is finally back with their new song, “Neverland“, which they performed for the first time on tonight’s ‘Music Bank‘.
Remarkably, member Eli made his comeback with the rest of U-KISS despite his knee injury, and impressed everyone in the studio with his fighting spirit. As for their performances, U-KISS performed “Someday” and ”Neverland“, showing off both their improved vocals and strong dance skills. Judging by the screams of fans, the boys definitely made a formidable comeback.

Kang Ho Dong to temporarily leave the industry to reflect on his actions

Kang Ho Dong, who was recently involved in a tax evasion controversy, has announced that he will temporary retire from the entertainment industry.
On September 9th, an emergency press conference was called at the Seoul Garden Hotel, where Kang Ho Dong stated, “I’m sorry for causing the public to worry. From this moment, I will temporary retire from the entertainment industry.”
Shedding tears, he continued, “I would like to sincerely apologize to the public for the recent tax scandal.” He then stood up and bowed deeply to the audience.
Kang Ho Dong stated, “I wrestled when I was young. When I was a professional wrestler, I even received the “man of great strength” title with the public’s support. After becoming an entertainer, I landed MC positions on many programs thanks to the high level of interest the public had in me. Without your love, I know that the Kang Ho Dong today would not exist. Knowing this, I have let down and disappointed you.”
“The tax problem is my fault for not thoroughly managing myself. I’m quite aware that the public’s hate for me right now is great. I’m a person who has a job as an entertainer. My duty is to give viewers laughter and happiness through the TV. In a situation like this, how can I shamelessly laugh and talk on TV?”
Kang Ho Dong continued, “From this moment on, I will be temporarily retiring from the entertainment business.”
“I will be taking this conference as an opportunity to tell my viewers that I will be tentatively retiring from the industry. I will discuss with the producers of the programs I am a part of to negotiate my leave without any losses suffered on their part.”

“After I retire, I will be reflecting on my actions and looking back on whether I was too assured of my high fame. I would like to apologize once again for causing a disturbance to society.”
Meanwhile, the Korean Taxpayers Union submitted a bill of indictment, accusing the National Tax Service for releasing personal information to the public. The Korean Taxpayers Union stated, “We have decided to report the National Tax Service for violating the ‘Personal Information Protection Law’ by releasing the information of a popular celebrity to the public.”

‘Music Bank’ kicked off its new episode today with a special Chuseok stage from Super Junior!
Dressed in colorful hanboks (Korean traditional clothes), the boys performed a fun cover of “Highway Romance” for their screaming fans. Ditching their aggressive “Mr. Simple” image, Super Junior simply had fun for this performance, as they jumped around, held hands, and waved enthusiastically to their fans. Afterwards, they gave the audience a traditional greeting by bowing on the stage.

With Chuseok right around the corner, B2ST sent their holiday greetings with pictures of the members dressed in hanboks.
The members revealed through the official Cube Entertainment website that they would be spending time with their family this holiday to relax after a very busy year.
Doojoon wrote, “I think our parents and members will spend an enjoyable Chuseok.” He continued, “Spending time with your family during this time is very valuable, so I hope our fans will put aside their worries and troubles for the time being and enjoy themselves.”
Hyunseung added, “I want to have time to talk with my family and have a great time hanging out with the members. I hope you all will also converse with your family and spend a good time.”
The members also revealed their wishes for the holiday. Doojoon wished for “B2ST’s advancement and growth, good health for family, members, and fans, and world peace”, while Hyunseung’s wish was “More music related activites and advancement”.

INFINITE finally gets a new dorm!

Last week, INFINITE grabbed their very first #1 win through Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown‘, and were finally allowed to move into a new dorm!
A source close to INFINITE revealed to OSEN that “The current dorm has already been put up on the market. The new dorm that they’ll move into is a new apartment. I found it was quite nice when I went to check it out.” The source also revealed that the members were incredibly excited over this long-awaited move, and couldn’t hold back their glee.
After securing 1st place two weeks in a row on ‘M! Countdown’, INFINITE experienced a boost in star power and have labeled as the new idol group to be watched. They’ve been receiving an unceasing flow of requests to appear on music shows, in addition to various broadcast programs.
INFINITE’s old dorm is famous amongst fans as an old two-story house located in Manwondong. The boys have been calling it ‘home’ since their trainee days, and it’s been revealed to be an old and shabby place. The members even had to share one bathroom between them.
The group had previously revealed, “If the members are talking inside the house, all the fans outside can hear what they’re talking about as well”.
INFINITE’s management, Woollim Entertainment, had promised the members a new dorm if they were able to secure a 1st place win on a music program, which added fuel to their burning desire to succeed.

CN BLUE to open for Linkin Park’s concert in Japan!

Pop-rock band CN BLUE will be opening for Linkin Park‘s concert in Japan!
It was recently reported that CN BLUE will be performing as the opening act for Linkin Park’s concert at the MAKUHARI MESSE center near Tokyo. Linkin Park had personally asked CN BLUE to perform for them after reviewing their profile.
A representative explained, “ Linkin Park personally listened to CN BLUE’s songs and were extremely satisfied after witnessing the boys’ stable vocal capabilities and performance skills. ”
It’s common for artists who go abroad for concert tours to choose local talent for their opening acts; the fact that CN BLUE is a Korean band opening for a Japanese concert makes this particular achievement very notable.
CN BLUE’s representative added, ” This special occasion will help boost CN BLUE’s global presence. The boys are very excited for this event and are practicing hard at night to showcase an excellent performance.”

4minute greets fans in bright hanboks

On September 9th, girl group 4minute greeted their fans in gorgeous hanboks as they shared their holiday messages.
For this year’s Chuseok holiday, the girls wished for several things. First off, Jihyun shared, ” I wish for my brother, who just joined the army, to stay healthy and strong. I also wish that our 4minute members live happy and healthily like we do now for as long as possible.”  Gayoon cutely added, ” I hope I don’t get fat after eating a lot of Chuseok food“.  Similarly, the other members wished for peace and good health.
In addition, the girls sent out messages to their fans and shared their plans for the holiday.  HyunA said, ” If I get a break, I’d like to spend some time with my family.  I will probably be able to meet a lot of fans through the upcoming Chuseok programs on TV. I hope you guys eat a lot of delicious food and enjoy the holiday.”
Jiyoon also shared, ” If I get a break, Id like to go on a vacation or eat yummy food.  I’d also like to meet my friends and most importantly, I want to spend time with my family.  We will also work harder to impress our fans.”

TVXQ‘s Yunho has once again proved his ‘world star’ status, this time in New York!
On September 9th, an internet community site posted a picture of Yunho from his visit to the Park Avenue Lacoste store. He had arrived in New York the day before for the fashion brand’s ‘New York Collection’ event.
Wearing chic frames and a crisp black shirt, Yunho looked calm and collected despite the crowd of fans pressing around him to get a picture. His bodyguards, on the other hand, looked slightly frazzled and bewildered by the mass confusion surrounding them.
Fellow member Changmin was absent for this event due to a schedule conflict.

G.NA says hello in an pretty hanbok for Chuseok

Singer G.NA has donned a pretty hanbok (Korean traditional dress) to greet her fans for the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
On September 9th, the singer sent out a message to her fans regarding her plans and wishes for the upcoming holiday. G.NA began by expressing her wish, saying, “I have always hoped for this, but I wish that everyone who I love (including myself) lives life healthily just like a “Top Girl “.
G.NA also shared,  ”Because the day after Korean Thanksgiving is my birthday, this holiday is probably going to be very special [to me]. I hope you guys stay healthy and eat a lot of delicious food. I too will have a good time and work hard at the same time.”

Lee Hongki shares a teaser for “Noriko Goes to Seoul”

On September 8th, Lee Hongki tweeted a teaser for his September 10th Chuseok special, “Noriko Goes to Seoul“.
The plot revolves around a Japanese couple who’ve been married for 17 years. Housewife Noriko is in love with Hallyu singer Kim Hyun Je, and her cold husband, Hiroshi, and daughter Miyuki (who just hit puberty) can’t understand her. While at the hospital one day, Noriko receives the news that she has lung cancer, which leads to Miyuki telling her that she’s going to give up track and field.
Noriko hears that Kim Hyun Je will be a judge at an audition, so in order to give her daughter courage, she goes to Korea to try out for the audition. Hongki plays Kim Minha, who helps Noriko in Korea. Hongki jokingly tells Noriko to call him “My Master“, since she doesn’t know what it means, but she ends up calling him that over and over again.

ZIA releases tracks + MV for collab duets with MBLAQ’s Mir & K.Will!

Powerful vocalist ZIA has collaborated with K.Will and MBLAQ’s Mir for her comeback.
ZIA has just released her duets “I Hope It’s You” featuring K.Will, and “Write Down Love” with MBLAQ’s Mir.
“I Hope It’s You” was written by Minuki, the songwriter behind Eru’s “Because It’s Us Two” and Park Myung Soo’s “To Stupid From Stupid”, and MIRU’s “Going to the Hospital”. “I Hope It’s You” and “Write Down Love” will be two of the tracks on the ZIA’s album that will be released at the end of this month.
Her company, Loen Entertainment, stated, “Zia is currently in the final stretch on the work of her album, and has decided to remain firm in her focus as a singer by releasing a full length album, which is hard to come by these days.”
The two artists who have participated in the duets, K.Will and Mir, are close friends of ZIA, and they have cheered each other on throughout their activities. The two have heartily congratulated her comeback and have become a big source of support for her.
In addition, actors Soh Yoo Jin and Choi Sung Joon have also lent a hand in support by appearing in her music video.

Which member of B2ST would place first in an audition?

Cable channel ETN and production company GSI reached out to netizens asking, “Who do you expect to win 1st place in an audition out of the B2ST members?” Over 300 people participated in this survey through Twitter and various portal sites.
The member who received the most votes from the fans was revealed to be Yoseob. Yoseob, having been recognized for his vocal talent on KBS’s ‘Immortal Song’, secured more than the majority of the votes.

Although Kim Ha Neul’s fashion sense from a quick glance may radiate ‘simple’, her choice of clothing is actually quite stunning.

G-Dragon consoled Lee In Hye with a hug

Actress Lee In Hye recently told a story of Big Bang‘s G-Dragon hugging her when he was a kid.
On the September 8th broadcast of QTV‘s ‘Ranking Women‘, Lee In Hye explained this story in the section of ‘The Best Consolation in My Life’.
She revealed, “It happened in my third year of high school. At the time, we appeared together in a children’s program and the children were a great comfort.“ She continued, “G-Dragon was in the center of the children. When I said, ‘Come here’, he ran over and hugged me.”
After listening to the story, the appeared guests were surprised by Lee In Hye’s older age; one netizen typed, ”If G-Dragon was a child then, Lee In Hye was a lot older.” Others commented, “G-Dragon was probably cute,” and, “I’m envious.”

Hara personally invites Kim Shin Young to host KARA’s album showcase

Comedian Kim Shin Young has been decided as the host for KARA‘s new album, ‘STEP‘, release showcase on the 14th.
A representative from DSP Media stated, “Goo Hara specifically invited Kim Shin Young to host the showcase. They met on KBS‘s ‘Invincinble Youth‘ and became close so Hara called Kim Shin Young herself to ask her the favor to act as host.”
Apparently, the two still continue to talk and meet even after the show has ended. Though Kim Shin Young has a very busy schedule and she’s been concentrating on TV programs rather than showcases, the comedian has put aside time to host for the showcase because of Hara’s request.
Hara stated, “As this new album is coming out in Korea after a gap of 10 months, I think that Shin Young’s energy, wit, and natural hosting skills will lend a lot of strength to KARA’s showcase.”

Supreme Team’s Simon D & E-Sens rival each other in solo activities

Hip hop duo Supreme Team member Simon D and E-sens will be competing against each other with their solo activities.
Simon D revealed his solo single album on September 5 with “Hero“, and E-Sens revealed his feature rap in Brown Eyed Soul member Sung Hoon‘s “Fail in Love” just two days later.  For the first time since forming Supreme Team, the two members will promote their songs separately.
An official from Supreme Team’s label ‘Amoeba Culture’ said, “Supreme Team was made by putting together two members that were separate yet shared the same passion for music. Of course each member is allowed to freely move anytime.  Usually if members in a group do separate activities, they try not to overlap each other, but as a musician of course they would want to show different sides to themselves, so we want to avoid any misunderstandings or speculations.”

After School’s UEE is… homeless?

Singer-actress UEE has unexpectedly  transformed herself into a homeless girl on KBS ‘Ojakgyo Brothers‘.
On this week’s 11th episode of ‘Ojakgyo Brothers‘, viewers will be able to watch UEE living out the ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ lifestyle on a farm courtyard.  Previews have revealed the idol eating and sleeping inside a pitched tent. UEE shot a scene which required her to boil ramen while wearing shabby training clothes and sleep in a sleeping bag under the tent.
There was also a funny incident during the set when director, Kim Min Soo shouted, “OK!” before UEE could finish her ramen.  The production team burst into laughter when UEE protested, “But it’s so delicious…”
On the other hand, UEE has been improving her acting skills by playing as the lead actress in ‘Ojakgyo Borthers’ and tvN’s ‘Birdie Buddy‘.

SISTAR’s Hyorin & So Yoo want to be on “We Got Married” with…

In the upcoming episode of MBC’s Everyone’s ‘Weekly Idol’, SISTAR appeared as a special guest. In the corner called ‘Rewriting the Idol Profiles’, SISTAR was honest and bold about what they thought.
MC Jung Hyung Don and Def Con were surprised by their surprisingly frank responses that didn’t seem characteristic of a girl group.
Hyorin talked about her ideal man, saying, “It’s already been revealed that my ideal is Kang Dong Won, but if I were to be in MBC’s ‘We Got Married’, I want to be paired with actor Yoo Ah In. I’m attracted to bad boys.”

Another SISTAR member So Yoo boldly responded, “Like Hyorin I like bad boys too. I want to film ‘We Got Married’ with Yoo Ah In”, causing competition among the two SISTAR members.
So Yoo even sent Yoo Ah In a video message saying, “Pick between Hyorin unni and I!”

Jaejoong & Wang Jihye show off their singing skills on ‘Protect the Boss’

Jaejoong and Wang Jihye went head to head in a karaoke singing battle on the September 8th episode of SBS drama, ‘Protect the Boss’.
Recently at one Kangnam karaoke, Cha Moo Won (Jaejoong) and Seo Na Yoon (Wang Jihye) each sang two of their favorite songs.
Wang Jihye was first to grab the microphone and sang Baek Ji-Young’s “Don’t Forget Me”, shouting in a comical way. She also sang Jin Joo’s “I’m Alright” along with the dance moves while wildly shaking a tambourine.
While filming her scene at the karaoke, fellow cast members Ji Sung and also staff members praised and commented, “Wang Ji Hye’s singing scene is bound to make headlines and the drama program ratings are expected go up.”
Jaejoong also added, “Wang Jihye’s comical singing skills are the best of the best,” giving her a thumbs up and continuing, “Lately a lot of people are asking about her and are curious as to who she is … there are people who are saying she looks different from her cold image and in the drama she shows a cute side and some people are calling me asking to introduce them to her.”
In response to this comment, Wang Jihye replied with excitement and laughter, yelling, “Call!” making people on the set burst with laughter.
After Wang Jihye’s performance, Jaejoong showed his own vocal talent. He sang Shin Sung Woo’s “Suh Shi” and Sung Shi Kyung’s “You Were An Impression”, which made the production staff speak highly of him saying, “He certainly is Korea’s top singer.”

Navi’s concert to feature 2AM and Noel as special guests

It’s been revealed that attendees of singer Navi‘s upcoming concert will also get to see 2AM and Noel!
On the 24th of this month, Navi will hold “Navi’s Second Concert Diary” at Seoul Yonsei University’s 100th Anniversary Auditorium. At this event, 2AM and Noel will feature as guests.
Her company ITM Entertainment said, “Noel and 2AM will come as guests at Navi’s concert and put on performances with her.”
Noel is in the same company as Navi so they are all close. This is Noel’s first performance in four years, so many fans are looking forward to the stage.
2AM seemed quite enthused about coming as guests, which showed their closeness and respect for Navi. Navi is the same age as member Changmin, so they are good friends.
Navi said, “I’m already nervous when I think about seeing my fans. However, I feel confident because I will have the help of my friends. I will keep practicing with the time I have and put on a good performance.”
The company added, “Amazing vocalist Navi, sensible 2AM, and original vocal group Noel will all complete this ‘Luxury Vocal Concert’.”

Billboard’s K-Pop Chart rankings released with Davichi as #1

It was revealed today that Davichi has overpowered the Billboard’s K-Pop Chart by placing #1 this week!

The duo of power vocals’ newly released title track, “Don’t Say Goodbye“, topped the ‘K-Pop Hot 100′ chart of the popular music site.
Leessang‘s popularity is also still hot as its released solo song “Turned off the TV…” took second place, while the group’s other songs, “The Answer to Me Is You” and “Reminiscence” placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
SISTAR‘s “So Cool” placed third, while G.NA‘s “Top Girl” placed fourth.

Nana announces that Orange Caramel will be back soon!

Fans, be excited – After School member Nana recently revealed that sub-unit Orange Caramel will be making its comeback!
She stated on After School’s official fan site, “I took this picture at Tokyo’s Girl Collection. To stand on a big stage as the main model was like a dream. I was really nervous, but because of fans cheering me on, I was able to do strong walking. Thank you!”
Nana added, “Oh yeah! Shhh… Keep this a secret, guys! Orange Caramel will be making a comeback soon. The hint is: one Asia project season 2! You’ll look forward to it, right?”

Jang Geun Suk denies love scandal with Japanese model Makimu

Actor Jang Geun Suk recently expressed his disbelief about the unexpected love scandal between him and Japanese model, Makimu.
On September 7th, Japanese press reporters announced that actor Jang Geun Suk was currently in a deep relationship with Makimu.  They also claimed that the two met two months ago in Japan and fell in love.
Representatives of Jang Geun Suk’s agency had a phone conversation with OSEN and revealed that the actor is not in a relationship and said, “The press claims were so ridiculous that we did not even bother to say anything about it.”
Jang Geun Suk’s representatives further explained that people might have taken it the wrong way when the actor went to a restaurant with his companions in Japan.  His friend’s cousin made a reservation, and Makimu just happened to visit the same restaurant out of coincidence.  Representatives stressed that, “The two did not exchange phone numbers. Heck, they didn’t even talk to each other.”
The actor visited Japan last month to promote his KBS 2010 drama, ‘ Mary Stayed Out All Night ‘ and even participated in the Japanese version of ‘You’re Beautiful‘.
For those who do not know, Makimu is a bi-racial singer whose father is Japanese and mother is Korean.  She is the exclusive model of fashion magazine, ‘EDGE STYLE‘ and is also known as a singer/actress.
