To the delight of fans and dog lovers alike, actress Lee Da Hae posed cutely for the camera with her adorable shitzu for her latest selca.
On September 10th, Lee Da Hae greeted fans in China from her weibo (Chinese version of Twitter), posting, “I’ll see you through a commercial on the 17th and the 18th!” along with the picture above. In the photo, Lee Da Hae is dressed casually in a simple white shirt, smiling for the camera with her puppy.
Fans who came across this adorable picture commented, “You guys both look like dolls“, “The dog is cute just like it’s owner“, and, “I want to see you soon“.

‘Idol Athletics’ aims to be the top Chuseok Special

Featuring a star line-up including Super Junior, SHINee, T-ara, and other top idols, along with celebrities from other fields, the ‘Idol Athletics‘ show is already raking in plenty of attention.
For MBC‘s 3rd annual ‘Idol Athletics’ program, in addition to those mentioned above, about 150 stars, including MBLAQ, Sistar, Infinite, and other idols; as well as ‘Birth of a Great Star‘ breakout’s Baek Chung Gang, Lee Tae Kwon, David Oh, and Kwon Ri Sae will be participating in sports competitions.
Specifically, male and female celebrities will be compete in the 100m dash, high jump, long jump, and other track events.  Additionally, special performances by comedian Boom and Super Junior are among the many surprise events MBC has planned for audiences.
The competition has received high viewer ratings in previous years as the program offers a rare opportunity to see countless top stars reach for the number one spot by showing their competitive spirit and athleticism.  In fact, this year approximately 10,000 fans attending the taping to cheer on their idols.
As this year’s Chuseok specials are struggling to reach decent viewer ratings, the anxiety for how well the ’2011 Idol Athletics’ program will perform is peaking.
MBC’s ‘Idol Athletics’ will broadcast at 5:30PM, September 13th (KST), as a 2-hour, 2-part special.

SNSD’s Hyoyeon confesses she no longer has feelings for her mysterious idol crush

On the most recent recording of ‘Strong Heart’, SNSD‘s Hyoyeon confessed that she no longer had feelings for the mysterious idol crush she mentioned on a previous episode of the show.
Hyoyeon commented on her previous appearance on the show, stating, “The last time I appeared on ‘Strong Heart’, I told everyone that there was an idol I had a secret crush on, but now that’s not how it is.”
She continued, “I no longer have the feelings I had for the idol I liked. I made an innocent confession after working up courage, but it seems that he figured out it was him somehow. Now, the ideal image I had of him is broken.”
The episode will be broadcast on the 13th KST. SNSD’s Sunny and Seohyun will also be appearing on the show with Hyoyeon.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk reveals his dislike for high-waisted pants

Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk has revealed his dislike for girls who wear high-waisted pants.
On September 12th’s broadcast of KBS “Hello“, there was a corner called ‘Release Your Worries‘, where regular people guested and revealed their concerns.
On this day’s broadcast, one female guest showed a concern about her boyfriend wearing hiking clothes as everyday clothes. The MCs then asked Super Junior, “Is there a style that you guys would like your girlfriend to not wear?”
To this, Eunhyuk replied, “Girls think that high-waisted pants are pretty, but I personally, really dislike them.”
Shindong also stated, “Girls think that guys don’t like it when they wear thick makeup, but I personally really like it.” The MCs then threw him the question, “Do you like the Japanese style makeup too?“, to which Shindong revealed his taste by replying, “Don’t you think it’s pretty?”

B2ST’s Dongwoon is a family man

B2ST’s Dongwoon was captured in two photos while spending time at home with his family for Chuseok.
Looking fashionable in sweats with an apron and rubber gloves on, Dongwoon is seen doing the dishes in the first picture uploaded on Twitter on the 11th. Dongwoon tweeted, “Helping my mom. It seems like whoever marries me will never have to get her hands wet”.

The second picture shows Dongwoon smiling down lovingly at a set of twin babies with the tweet, “Our babies.. they’re already almost 100 days old, hehehe. Jiyeon and Seoyeon”.
Awestruck by the photos, Netizens commented “Please marry me”, “I didn’t know you were such a family man”, and “Wahh.. I want to be that baby!”

miss A’s Suzy embarrasses Moon Hee Jun on ‘Top Star Couple’

H.O.T’s Moon Hee Jun faced unexpected humiliation about his age from miss A’s Suzy.
On SBS’s ‘Top Star Couple’ that aired on the 12th, MC Jang Yoon Jung asked miss A’s Suzy about the possibility of a love line between her and H.O.T’s Moon Hee Jun.
Suzy replied calmly, “Rather than a boyfriend, he is a much older sunbae… I was just 2 years old when H.O.T made their debut” – causing much laughter to break out.
Due to the sudden indignation about his age, Moon Hee Jun looked into the camera as he begged the president of SBS, “I request for this segment to be edited out, please“.

Jang Geun Suk and Rain take photos together

Two hot stars, Jang Geun Suk and Rain, recently met up for some fun times together.  On September 12th, Jang Geun Suk shared photo updates of himself with the world star.
Jang Geun Suk wrote, “I met a man today.  This is none other than raw liver!!”
Looking playful in one cut and friendly in the other, it’s amusing to see the ahjumma fans lined up at the window behind them, looking as excited as ever to be catching glimpses of the Hallyu stars.
The ‘raw liver’ statement Jang Geun Suk makes is in reference to his guesting on MBC‘s ‘Knee-Drop Guru’ where he talked about his friendship with Rain.  At the time, he had stated, “I have something that Rain hyung doesn’t have, and it’s none other than a youthful liver.”

Every celebrity seems to have a cute pet nowadays, and 2AM‘s Jo Kwon is no exception.  While celebrating the Chuseok holiday, Jo Kwon took some adorable sel-cas with his puppy named, Lucky.
On his Twitter, he wrote, “Thanks to all of the food our fans presented us, Lucky and I have become lazy.  Please spend a happy Chuseok.”
Looking surprised in one and tired in the next, Lucky can be seen wearing a hanbok outfit made for dogs while lounging around his owner.

Just how big is Shindong’s head?

On September 12th, it was revealed on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Hello‘ that Super Junior‘s Shindong‘s head circumference measured 62 cm!
The star guested on the show and revealed that his big head was one of his biggest pet peeves growing up.  He stated, “Ever since I was little, my head was so big so it was a big worry for me.  My front and back was a ‘jjanggu’ so it looked even bigger than it really was.”
Panelists got up to check the size for themselves on the spot and brought out a measuring tape to measure his head circumference.  Surprisingly, he measured 62 cm.
Unable to hold their shock, MC Jung Chan Woo commented, “My head is around 61 cm… That’s really big.”

Korean Singers Association holds a fall retreat for veteran singers

For Chuseok, some of the younger singers are taking care of the welfare of the veteran singers.
On September 12th, the Korean Singers Association held a Veterans’ Fall Retreat for 30 veteran singers where they were able to travel around cities such as Daejeon and Buyeo.
For this special event, a total of 20 young singers participated and donated including Lee Seung Chul, Wheesung, After School, Jang Yoon Jung, Lee Ru, Sung Jin Woo, Maya, In Soon Ee, Sul Woon Do, Nam Jin, Bae Il Ho, and Park Hyun Bin.
In addition, a total of 30 veteran singers such as Han Myung Sook and Keum Sa Hyang participated in this meaningful event.
The president of the Korean Singers Association, Tae Jin Ah commented, “I know it’s not easy donating money even when you have enough. But because these younger generation singers donated for this event, we were able to experience something meaningful” and added, “I hope that we can have more of these heartwarming events“.

SNSD’s Hyoyeon reveals cute mistakes with her speech

On September 12th, SNSD‘s Hyoyeon guested on SBS‘s Chuseok special of ‘Dalgona‘ and proved herself to be the female version of veteran singer Kim Heung Guk, a celebrity known for his hilarious speech mistakes.
Hyoyeon’s close hometown friend Park Ki Joon made an appearance, surprising everyone with a confession on the many instances where Hyoyeon made some mistakes in her speech.
He began, “Hyoyeon makes a lot of hilarious mistakes.  She was into the character ‘Goo Jun Pyo’ from the drama ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ when it was airing.  We were watching it together one day and she looked at me with an expression of love and said, ‘Don’t you think Goo Jun Yup is so amazing?’”
Her mistakes didn’t end just there, though, as he had saved the best for last.  “One day, Hyoyeon was trying to ask me to go skiing with her.  Because she was so excited, instead of ‘ski’, she ended up saying, ‘Let’s go to the kiss resort!”

T-ara’s Eunjung shows off her Taekwondo moves on “Star Couple

On September 12th, T-ara‘s Eunjung was a special guest on SBS‘s ‘Star Couple Championships‘ and showed off her powerful Taekwondo skills.
A third-degree black belt holder appeared on the show, and Eunjung didn’t want to be outdone, especially since she’s a third-degree black belt herself.  With a loud yelp, she easily succeeded in high kicking her way to breaking a wood board.
Although panelists were surprised with the girl group member at first, they quickly acknowledged her for her strong Taekwondo skills.
