23,000 fans attend MBLAQ’s “Baby U” High Five event in Japan


The boys of MBLAQ garnered further attention for gathering over 23,000 fans at their recent “Baby U” high five event in Japan.
The boys traveled to Nagoya on the 28th, as well as Osaka on the 29th and Tokyo on the 30th to celebrate the release of their new single. On their last day of promoting, they created an event for their fans and performed hit songs such as “Mona Lisa“, and “Your Luv“.
Member Mir remarked, “We’re glad the event was successful, but I’m sad to see it end. I’m so thankful for our fans that make each event so memorable, showing us their loyal support.
Released on the 26th, “Baby U” is the second single the boys have released in Japan, and the single sold 22,068 copies the first day, as well as climbing to the #2 slot on the Oricon chart alongside popular Japanese girl group AKB4
