2NE1‘s Sandara Park revealed her friendship with actor Jung Il Woo.
On October 30th, she posted on her me2day, “Jung Il Woo is my flower boy friend as I introduce Jung Il Woo! We’ve become crazy! He seems to be preparing a ramyun store! I want to eat yum yum yum ramyun! Everyone, have a good day!”
With her comment Dara uploaded the poster for Jung Il Woo’s character in tvN‘s drama, ‘Flower Boy Ramyun Shop‘. Dara posted the photo before its October 31st premier to help promote it.

UEE to continue hosting Music Bank

Fans will be delighted to hear that After School member UEE will continue her stint as Music Bank‘s guest MC!
After hosting as a one-time MC on the October 28th episode of Music Bank, it was announced that UEE will continue her position for the time being and accompany permanent host Hyunwoo. UEE has expressed anticipation for the opportunity to work with the actor, saying, “It’s a great honor to host with Hyunwoo. I will show everyone a new side.”

After years of waiting, the Wonder Girls are finally making their full-fledged comeback! The “Red Wonder Girls” have revealed their second batch of photo teasers with a maturation that’ll have everyone doing a double take.
The girls are expected to make an impact with their comeback as the teaser footage and pictures showcase each girl’s unique and intense charisma.  If the first set of photos had a more restrained, sexy concept, this teaser showcases the ladies’ matured charisma with black leather and polka dotted outfit.

Brown Eyed Girls to release repackaged album & promote new ballad

The Brown Eyed Girls will be revealing their ‘Sixth Sense’ repackaged album on November 4th. In addition to the previous tracks on the original ‘Sixth Sense’ album, a new title track will be included.
For the past five years, Brown Eyed Girls have been loved by fans for their electronice pop dance title tracks. However, this time around, the girls have chosen a sad, emotional ballad. Although they have included ballads in their albums, this will only be the second time that they will promote a ballad as a title track.
The last time the group used a ballad as their title track was back in 2006, for their 1st official album with ‘Come Close to Me’. After 5 years and 8 months, the members will be returning to their roots and will begin their promotions with a ballad as their title track.
Their agency stated, “Although the final title has not yet been chosen, this song will be an emotional ballad that will touch the heart as soon as you hear it… Although there are many styles of ballads, this will be a style that Brown Eyed Girls will be attempting for the first time… The members have high expectations for this new challenge.”
Recently, member Ga-in revealed, “This will be the most exceptional song and stage in the history of Brown Eyed Girls.”
Brown Eyed Girls will return to the stage with their new ballad track through KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘ on the day of the release of the new repackaged album.

KARA’s Ji Young to possibly be cast in Japanese drama

It was recently announced that KARA‘s Kang Ji Young is a high prospective candidate for the female lead role of the Japanese drama, ‘Rainbow Rose‘.

DSP Media stated, “We have talked to the producers of ‘Rainbow Rose’ about the possibilities, but nothing has been confirmed. We are still thinking carefully about this.”
If Kang Ji Young is to be chosen as the female lead, she will be working with group Cho Shin Sung‘s member Park Gun Il. Producer Kim Soo Ryong will work with the drama and it will air on Japan’s ‘TVTokyo’.

Song Joong Ki takes couple shot with Park So Hyun

On October 27th, actress Park So Hyun uploaded an affectionate photo of her and Song Joong Ki via Twitter.
The actress tweeted, “With Song Joong Ki, ‘Many A Little Romance‘ will be released on November 10th, please give [the movie] a lot of support“.  In the photo, netizens were able to see the friendly relationship between the two as they wrapped their arms around each other.  Their natural look with matching winter outfits had some viewers, mistake them as a real couple.

On October 28th, MBLAQ‘s Mir showed off his sleeker V-line through Twitter, drawing a mix of praise and concern from his fans.
Attaching a selca to his tweet, the idol wrote, “For all of my Japanese A+, Korean A+, people all over the world, and to all my A+ in outer space, [I'm] sharing one selca.  This is what you call a V-line.”
It’s been a while since his last update, so fans were surprised to see a world-wide (if not galatic) selca dedication. Since Mir drew attention to the V-line himself, fans immediately began to debate whether he looked good, or if he looked gaunt.

miss A’s Suzy wants to be in ‘Dream High 2′

Considering the huge success of ‘Dream High‘, is it possible that the original cast will return for the drama’s sequel?
On October 29th, J.Y. Park tweeted, ““Starting to produce Dream High 2. 1st episode starts at Jan 30th on KBS. Let me know your suggestions for the show please~^^.”
In response to his tweet, miss A‘s Suzy replied, “Wow, Dream High 2! My suggestion? I’d be happy if Hyemi returns to the drama.” Suzy played the drama’s protagonist, ‘Hyemi’, alongside Kim Soo Hyun, 2PM‘s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, IU, and T-ara‘s Eunjung.
After reading Suzy’s suggestion, netizens responded, “I’d really like it if Hyemi made a comeback!”, “Maybe she could return as a cameo? Future Hyemi?’”, and “I hope the songs and dances have more complexity in Dream High 2.”
So far, it’s known that ‘Dream High 2′ will feature appearances from J.Y. Park and Bae Yong Joon.

2NE1′s Sandara Park prays for Thailand

On October 29th, 2NE1‘s Sandara Park left an encouraging message for the people of Thailand, who are currently experiencing severe floods that have killed over 380 people so far. Bangkok residents saw their capital city getting submerged underwater from their main waterway, Chao Phraya River, thus marking one of the worst floods in Thailand’s history since 1942.
Because of this dangerous situation, organizers were forced to cancel 2NE1′s Nolza concert in Thailand, originally scheduled for October 29th.
Sandara posted a photo of her planner, which revealed she had concert rehearsals and interviews on the 28th, followed by the actual concert on the 29th. The idol wrote on her me2day, “Due to Bangkok’s flooding, today’s 2NE1 Nolza concert has been canceled.  It’s a total shame TT_TT.  I hope Thai BlackJacks, Yamaha staff members, and all Thai residents stay safe!  I wish for no more casualties… Let’s pray for Thailand!”

‘Music Core’ will not air this week due to baseball

Due to a pro-baseball game that’s running late, MBC has decided not to air its episode of ‘Music Core‘ tonight.
‘Music Core’ announced the decision through their homepage, and revealed that even though the show won’t broadcast tonight, recording will proceed as scheduled. Today’s show will be aired next week on November 5th instead.
‘We Got Married’, which follows ‘Music Core’, will also be rescheduled; in its place, MBC will show a re-run of ‘High Kick 3′. But not to fear, TV fans – ‘Infinity Challenge’ will air during its regular time slot.

J.Y. Park announces ‘Dream High 2′ air date

There’s been a ton of buzz surrounding the new drama series, “Dream High 2“, as details regarding its cast and air date have been kept under wraps. On October 29th, fans received some concrete news from J.Y. Park himself, who announced the official air date of ‘Dream High 2′!
The multi-entertainer tweeted, “Starting to produce Dream High 2. 1st episode starts at Jan 30th on KBS. Let me know your suggestions for the show please~^^”
As we reported earlier, ‘Dream High 2′ will feature some brand new faces. The beloved cast from the original series may make a return, but currently, nothing has been set in stone yet. What is known, however, is that J.Y. Park and Bae Yong Joon will be making an appearance for sure.

Jo Kwon talks about Ga-In’s kiss scene with Doojoon from ‘All My Love’

2AM‘s Jo Kwon has intrigued fans once again with new details on Brown Eyed Girl‘s Ga-In‘s kiss scene with B2ST‘s Yoon Doojoon.
Ga-in guested on the latest episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Secret‘, only to have the story of her kiss scene NGs with Doojoon from ’All My Love‘ revealed on television.
Jo Kwon came on as a surprise witness of the incident, and explained, “When we were filming the sitcom together, Ga-In acted without NG’s when she was acting with other female actresses; but for some reason, she always had a lot of NG’s when she was acting next to male actors. In particular, she had a ton of NG’s during her kiss scene with Yoon Doojoon.”
Ga-in, who seemed surprised by the subtle accusation, explained, “Because I am a woman, too, I get nervous when acting with male actors. I even got nervous when I was acting with Kim Kap Soo senior,” drawing laughter in the studio.

Actor Lee Byung Hun is feeling the Halloween spirit!
The star is currently in the States, filming for his new movie, ‘G.I. Joe 2′. He and director Jon Chu (of ‘Step Up 3D’) recently dropped by a haunted house, and the director snapped this photo of Lee Byung Hun getting ready to kick some alien tail.
Lee Byung Hun, who plays the character ‘Storm Shadow’, is working alongside other famous actors like Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a ‘The Rock’), Channing Tatum, and more. Filming began in August, and the movie is scheduled to be out sometime next year.

Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko reveals pictures of his baby boy

Dynamic Duo‘s Gaeko revealed pictures of his baby boy for the very first time through his wife’s Twitter.
On October 28th, his wife tweeted, “[This was] when Rhythm was 2 weeks old. He was like an angel then, but now, after drinking an exorbitant amount of his mother’s milk, he has become an adorable pig.”
In the picture, their son (nicknamed ‘Rhythm’) can be seen lying on the bed while looking into the camera. Although these photos were taken when he was just two weeks old, he’s already developed prominent facial features, such as big eyes and a defined nose bridge.
Fellow member of Dynamic Duo, Choiza, retweeted the photo and wrote, “Ah.. happiness manufacturing machine, I just want to reach out and touch him.”

Huh Gak dances to SNSD’s ‘The Boys’ on Music Bank

On October 28th, SNSD took home their very first K-chart win for “The Boys” on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘.
The girls were up against ballad singer Huh Gak, and they couldn’t hold back their surprise when their names were announced as the winners. SNSD was seen jumping up and down with glee before turning to Huh Gak, entreating him prettily to sing their song together. Startled, Huh Gak declined with some embarrassment, but he did emulate a dance move from “The Boys” after being coached quickly by Hyoyeon.
Although he didn’t win, Huh Gak seemed genuinely happy for the girls as he congratulated them with a warm applause.

Former g.o.d member Son Ho Young will be returning with a new mini-album on November 10th.
This will be his first new release in three years, after his second full-length album, ‘Returns‘.
On October 27th, the singer unveiled his album jacket photos through Twitter and wrote, “Finally, in November! I am officially coming back after 3 years with a mini-album. I’m so busy preparing for this album, I wish I had more of me to share the workload. I hope you will look forward to it.”
CJ E&M, who produced this album, remarked, “We are in the final stages of recording and we are busily working to prepare for his comeback. I thinks fans will be delighted to see that both Son Ho Young’s appearance and music have matured.”

Why was KARA’s Gyuri absent from the ’2011 K-POP Super Concert’?

On October 28th, girl group KARA performed the ending stage for ‘2011 K-POP Super Concert‘, which was held in the city of Busan. The girls performed their famous tracks, “Mister” and “Step“.
However, the audience was puzzled as to why only four members were present during the performance, as Park Gyuri was nowhere to be seen.  A DSP Media representative explained, “Gyuri was unable to attend the concert due to her Japanese musical, ‘200 Pounds Beauty‘.” Gyuri’s musical series kicked off with a bang recently, and has been doing very well in Japan as it’s sold out all of its shows.
Aside from KARA, other well-known idols attended the event including U-KISS, T-ara, Jay Park, ZE:A, SISTAR, AA, Kim Hyun Joong, Big Bang, Se7en, SHINee, and Psy.

Baek Ji Young reveals her luxurious home

Singer Baek Ji Young who has been busy running her online shopping mall with former COOL member and best friend Yuri, has built up a lot of fashion tips, know-how’s and how-to’s. She will reveal all of this knowledge in her newest style book ‘MAKING STYLE 365‘, which is slated to be published soon. Her biggest fashion project? Decorating her own luxurious home, which she opened up to the public for the very first time.
The walls of the singer’s home are painted in different hues of subtle ivory and beige, and the matching rug in the living room gives the place a warm touch. The bold splash of red in her curtains and dining table also give the home a luxurious but trendy feel.
Baek Ji Young also shared her large private walk in closet which was full of handbags in every color along with rows and rows of clothing, neatly organized by the singer herself.

“I’m the type of person that holds on to things, and can’t easily throw things away. I have a lot of clothes I’ve never even worn… even clothes that are quite old, hold a lot of sentimental value. They hold memories, and I feel like if I get rid of these clothes, I’m throwing away the memories with them. I hold these clothes neat and dear to my heart, firmly believing that the fashion trends will repeat themselves,” she said as she expressed her love for clothing.
The singer will be revealing her know-hows to organizing closets, shoe racks, make-up stands, etc, as well as introduce all the areas of her home in her newest project, ‘Making Style 365′.

Actor Lee Dong Wook who stirred the hearts of lady viewers as a young, chic boss on ‘Scent of a Woman‘ recently transformed into a classy autumn gentleman.
We previously reported that the actor uploaded a few pictorial-esque photos via his me2day page, and it turns out that he was actually on the set for his ‘Beanpole Collection‘ photo shoot that took place in Paris for Esquire magazine.
He expressed his different charms in the various outfits, such as a classic double-breasted jacket over no-tuck slacks, and a camel-colored knit sweater looking very much like a trendy Parisian. Every take was perfect as he managed to look like a fashionista in each ensemble he modeled.
The pieces he wore in his photo shoot are from casual clothing brand Bean Pole. Although the ensembles are for comfortable wear, they give off a fresh and elegant look with colors that pair well with the autumn season. The outfits only further highlighted Lee Dong Wook’s long legs, fit physique and handsome face.

Kim Tae Hee thanks fans for her gift

On the 28th, the ladies of SNSD looked classy and chic performing “The Boys” on KBS Music Bank dressed in trendy and modern equestrian uniforms. They lived up to their title as the idol queens of K-pop, belting out the song live without a hitch and never missing a dance beat.

2PM Nichkhun’s odd drinking habits?

What kinds of drinking habits do the stars have?
Actor Jang Dong Gun is famous for falling asleep after a few drinks, while Song Joongki is known to scream at the top of his lungs.

4minute unveils jackets + track list for “READY GO” + longer preview

Although 4minute‘s sixth Japanese single, “READY GO” isn’t slated for it’s official release until December 7th, it’s been used as the opening theme song to the drama, ‘Welcome to the El-Palacio‘.
The group’s Japanese label UMJ (Universal Music Japan) has finally released the album jackets and track list to the single.
It will have three editions: Type A, Type B, and CD only.

SHINee’s Minho shoots a romantic CF

SHINee‘s Minho recently shot a CF with model Goo Eun Ae.
Still cuts from the CF of the two were revealed on SHINee’s fan cafe on the 28th. The couple looked very natural together on set, and Minho rocked smokey eye makeup to intensify his look, while Goo Eun Ae looked seductively into his eyes, showcasing her voluptuous body.
