Siwon and Lee Sung Jae have a drinking battle on “Poseidon”

Choi Siwon and Lee Sung Jae will portray the role of two policemen named Kim Sun Woo and Kwon Jung Ryul for the upcoming drama “Poseidon“.
On August 29th, the two filmed a scene in Chungnam Taeahngoon and some stills from this filming were recently made available to the public. For the scene, the two were have a friendly drinking battle. Even though they’re both policemen for the same police station, they have gone through some misunderstandings from four years prior that have ruined their relationship.
The two of them have a very serious and emotional meeting, which piqued the interest of potential viewers on what really happened four years ago. This meeting becomes the reason why they start putting their differences aside and work together in division nine.
Even though they have a sunbae-hubae relationship, the two are getting along like best friends. In order to put on a realistic performance for the scene, the two actually drank real soju (Korean distilled beverage with a taste similar to vodka).
The production staff stated, “The two showed perfect teamwork that was not overdone during this drinking battle scene. Please look forward to ‘Poseidon’”.
The first episode will air on the 19th through KBS2TV.

Brazilian A-Plus fans shut down a street in front of MBLAQ’s hotel

Yesterday, the boys of MBLAQ arrived to much fan fare in Brazil for the ‘2011 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival‘. Many people gave much praise to the Brazilian fans as they showed much love to MBLAQ, but now they’ve taken things to another level.
Earlier today, a fan uploaded a video of the chaotic scene in front of MBLAQ’s hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Reportedly, there were so many people on the scene that the street in front of the hotel was shut down for some time.
I’m sure, the MBLAQ boys were definitely saying “Oh Yeah” upon seeing all the commotion from their hotel rooms. The Brazilian fans definitely deserve an A-Plus for their outpour of love and affection.Check out the video below!

How much did the MV set piece for KARA’s “Step” cost?

On September 6th, KARA unveiled the title track MV for “Step“ from their 3rd album.
The music video contained vivid color tones that emphasized the set, costumes, and choreography, that lightened up the entire atmosphere of the big 35 meter set piece. The large set contained a total of 30 people including back up dancers and break dancers.
In particular, the stage set piece alone reportedly cost 100 million won or approximately $93,205 which showed the amount of high production costs and dedication that was put into KARA’s comeback album.
After KARA released “Step”, they produced an All Kill on the charts placing 1st on Melon, Mnet, Oleh Music, Soribada, Naver, and Daum.
Fans are also anticipating the release of KARA’s album cover on September 8th. They physical copy album cover will depict the girls wearing special Swarovski jewelry, showing a new luxurious side of the girls.
Furthermore KARA plans to take on full fledged activities to promote their album in mid September after the Chuseok festivities.

JYJ reveals “Get Out”!

Taecyeon meets up with Chansung, Seulong, and Ga-In

Last year, 2PM’s Taecyeon, 2AM’s Seulong, and Brown Eyed Girls Ga-In met up with regular frequency with the usual spot being Mcdonald’s. Unfortunately, due to their respective busy schedules, the trio haven’t met up in quite a while.
That all changed today as the trio met up once again and were also accompanied by Chansung at Mcdonald’s.
Taecyeon updated his twitter with the above photo and tweeted, “오랜만이다!!!ㅋㅋㅋ / It’s been a long time !!!”

f(x)’s Krystal seems to miss ‘Kiss & Cry’

On the evening of September 7th, f(x)‘s Krystal shared a photo of herself figure-skating without an ice rink! Writing on her me2day, she suggested, “When feeling sleepy, skate on bare ground. ”
In the photo, you can see Krystal ‘skating’ on the floor to fight off her drowsiness. She shows off her dashes, jumps, and some awkward poses in the divided set of photos.

Krystal had learned to figure-skate through SBS’s popular reality program, ‘Kim Yuna’s Kiss & Cry‘, which paired celebrities and professional figure skaters together in a dramatic competition. SNSD’s Yoona hidden personality to be revealed on SBS’s “K-STAR News”

On September 9th at 10PM, SBS E!TV‘s ‘K-STAR News‘ will air a special episode revealing the hidden personality of the angelic Yoona which has never been revealed before!
Yoona has shown different personalities during her activities with the various variety programs.  She has the image of being innocent and pure, but at the same time, she has brought out her tom boyish charms and has been a favorite on many shows.
However, on this week’s ‘K-STAR News‘, an unexpected attribute of Yoona will be shown to viewers.  The program will reveal how Yoona can also be greedy when the camera’s are off.
